Having studied Greek art in college, I’ve found it kind of amazing to see the living people look just like the ancient art! Two of the features that really stand out to me are the eyes and the nose. Inspired by Greek art and the living people, I’ve decided to create a series of paintings focusing on Greek portraits. The reference for this painting was a Greek model in a magazine. I changed most things, except the pose.
