This painting was inspired by the beach near where we were staying in Herceg Novi, Montenegro… some paintings can be a struggle, but this one came really easily. I always love how the light and shadows change on the mountains and I added some “happy clouds”, too 😉
This painting is inspired by a stormy Herceg Novi sunset… Half the sky is dark blue and ready to pour and the other half is bright pink and glorious. I’ve always had fun drawing or painting stormy skies… I love the movement and energy it brings.
